Born in the 14th district of Paris and raised in Les Ulis France, Johanne immis remembers drawing at a very young age. Her mother is from Haiti and her father from Martinique which inspired her creative style.
She moved to Crown Heights Brooklyn to live with her grandparents as a pre-teen. She continued to express her interest in Art by drawing and selling each page for $1.
She started as a self-taught artist until she decided to develop and sharpen her skills by attending Katharine Gibbs School in Manhattan.
With an Associate Degree in Visual Communications, she later worked at UniWorld Group Inc. then later at the French Consulate of New York. She soon realized that she was destined to live a creative lifestyle.
In 2011 'Johanne immis' was created. Since then she designs her own art apparel, creates coloring pages, paints live, illustrates Children's Books, creates Logos, paints murals and does Body Painting.
Johanne immis' artwork is in many countries across the world.
