"I love to create; it's truly a blessing to do what I love." Johanne immis
Born in the 14th district of Paris and raised in Les Ulis France, Johanne remembers drawing at a very young age.
Her parents are from Haiti and Martinique which inspired her creative style.
As a pre-teen, she relocated and moved to Crown Heights, Brooklyn. She lived with her grandparents where she continued to express her interest in music and art by drawing and singing in her church's choir.
As a self-taught artist, she decided to develop and sharpen her skills by attending Katharine Gibbs School in Manhattan.
With an Associate Degree in Visual Communications, she worked at UniWorld Group Inc. and created projects for clients such as Burger King, Heineken, and Disney.
Her creative career took a turn when she worked at the French Consulate of New York. She soon realized that she was destined to create her own company.
Johanne immis decided to follow her passion for creating and she launched her own company in 2011. She creates and designs apparel, home décor and merchandise for the dreamers and go-getters. She also illustrates printable coloring pages that people from all over the world love to color!
