Lately, I have been on a hunt for delicious alkaline food options (as well as vegan) that can satisfy my fancy taste buds. Google has been so good to me, it let me right to this incredible, cozy place called...... Natural Blend Cafe located at 243 Malcolm X Blvd, Brooklyn, NY 11233 I knew this place was heaven sent when I saw that they use Spelt Flour. I will blog about the benefits of spelt flour very soon. THEY HAVE SOME DELICIOUS FOOD OPTIONS! I went there for my birthday on March 14th (I am still celebrating lol) and this place is super clean, it has a friendly staff and the decor is clean and zen. I ordered my one of my favorite breakfast dishes: Ackee & Saltfish with provision, steam spelt flour dumpling AND a fried spelt flour dumpling. Their Seamoss drink is divine, it was yummyyyyy. After almost licking my plate clean, I ordered their Vegan Pumpkin Cake to go. It was so moist and flavorful. If you're ever in NYC, please stop by this wonderful place. They have another location on Washington Avenue which is more of an express stop, if you are looking for a groovy place to eat and chill then go to their Malcolm X Boulevard location.
