Sweet September

I usually like to blog as soon as the month begins but for September 2022 I took my sweet, sweeeeeet time!

What an amazing month this has been in so many ways!

For starters, I learned how to slow down and appreciate each moment because sometimes I would catch myself rushing and then later realize that it would bring down my mood. Now, I remind myself that I am exactly where I need to be. "I am always at the perfect place at the perfect time." This has been a game changer for me! 

I relish in the beautiful "now", it feels great to be able to shift my thoughts and direct my attention to things that I can enjoy in the "now".

This has been such a transformational month for me and it allowed me to grow into a better version of myself.

My mother once found a quote online, she printed it a gave it to me...it said "Persistence is the reliable path to whatever it is you seek." It is so true because to achieve this new way of being my dedication, consistency and persistence made it possible. 

I also recently discovered "The Soft Life" which isssss AMAZING! When I googled its definition this is what came up: "A soft life means no longer feeling guilty about prioritizing a life that makes you feel happy."

It was like an "AH-HA!" moment for me and I immediately began to create a lifestyle that truly makes me happy. 
If I use the internet or social media, I look at things that make me happy, I watch personal development videos on YouTube,  I eat healthier foods, I stretch my body, I drink more water thanks to my thermos bottles and I allow myself to rest and take naps when I feel like it.
