What is Personal Development?
Here is the answer according to Wikipedia: "Personal development or self improvement consists of activities that develop a person's capabilities and potential, build human capital, facilitate employability, and enhance quality of life and the realization of dreams and aspirations." The above mentioned word "activities" means to take consistent actions that are aligned with what you want to accomplish. Once you take action and you change the way you think, your life will change. Your mind and your habits go hand in hand to get what you want out of life. If your goal is better health, you will have to perform daily "activities" like eating better, being more relaxed and exercising. If you want to be a happy person everyday, then you will have to be more grateful and thankful as much as you can. Start being grateful for the little things in your life, the air you breathe, the food you eat, the family that you have. Happiness is a choice. I want you to know that you have amazing capabilities and your life can drastically change once you decide to change the way you think. YouTube is an incredible tool to get started, especially if you do not know anyone who is uplifting. A positive mindset is the necessary foundation to get what you want. Think highly of yourself by affirming these daily: "I am amazing" "I am so smart" "Amazing opportunities come to me easily and effortlessly" "I am getting better and better" "I love my body" "I have a successful business / career" You can create your own affirmations but they key is to take action and to be consistent!
